The DC6003 closer can be mounted in three different ways to suit your needs. Regular mounting involves attaching the closer to the door on the pull side, with the arm mounted on the top frame. Top jamb mounting places the closer on the push side of the door, with the closer mounted on the top of the door frame. Parallel mounting, meanwhile, has the closer installed on the push side of the door face, using a parallel arm mounting bracket.
